Introducing Mayfields Restaurant

Our new neighbourhood Restaurant on Wilton Way E8

If you’ve been down to our Wilton Way store over the last few months, you may have noticed that we’ve been busy working on the old kebab shop across the road. We think that now is a good time to introduce you to Mayfields, our new place on Wilton Way, Hackney.Mayfields is joint venture which came about soon after meeting restaurateur Claire Roberson, a well known chef around London and founder of the ‘Shacklewell Nights’ series of supperclubs.  The name Mayfields is taken from the greengrocer’s shop that occupied the site in the 1850s; in a later incarnation in the 1960s, the building was home to one of the east London cafes from which the notorious Kray twins conducted their affairs.
Mayfields opened at the start of May and has been warmly recieved both by members of the local community as well as by restaurant critic Andy Lynes who rated it 4 stars, praising the ‘friendly service, and of course, the food.’

The restaurant serves a variety of sharing plates based on the freshest produce they can source every day. They’re open for both lunch and dinner Friday through Sunday and for dinner from Tuesday to Sunday.  We really hope you can come down, enjoy a meal here and find out what all the fuss is about.
To reserve please call 0207 245 8311 or e-mail
